My Path to Psychotherapy
I believe that personal development is actually a lifelong process and that every therapist must always remain a student—to explore, question, and grow. I am currently in a place that feels right to me, helping people using the methods of Gestalt psychotherapy. I recognise that this role allows me to offer the most. However, I didn't always know that this role would mean so much to me. For a long time, I searched for what truly fulfils me, what gives me meaning.
Nije mi teško da budem sa klijentom u onome gde sam bio sa samim sobom.
In that search, I enrolled in the Gestalt Academy, wanting to better understand myself, to improve the way I express needs, communicate with others, and recognise different ways of thinking. Psychotherapy education is a process that changed me from the inside out. It helped me realise that we are neither "this way" nor "that way," but that a fine blend of possibilities exists within us. These possibilities emerge when we become aware of them and give them space to express themselves.
My practice in psychotherapy is a combination of everything I have been through: pain, curiosity, mistakes as well as successes, discipline, knowledge, and, above all, experience. It is a space where I will not try to "fix" you, but I will be there to accompany you as you find your own rhythm, your own voice, and your own meaning.
Personal Journey
My deeper self-exploration started long before my psychotherapy training. A difficult event was the catalyst for significant change. During that period, which I like to call the "dark night of the soul," I confronted my own shadows. I was fortunate to have the immense support of my wife, which gave me the strength to endure the process of questioning all my values and beliefs.
On that path, I encountered many people and methods that helped me: psychotherapy with Branka Krdžić, family constellations with Vedran Krljeta, the EFT method... All these are important parts of my personal and professional growth.
Experience with Yoga
One of the things that accompanies me every day is yoga. My teacher, Ranko Stoiljković (Vairagya Ranko)introduced me to the practice of Ashtanga Yoga, and since then, yoga has been my anchor. I completed my yoga teacher training at the Holistic Academy Mayafollowed the teachings of Jadranko Miklec , and in 2019, as a scholarship recipient from the Government of India, I studied at the prestigious S-VYASA Yoga University in Bangalore. Today, I hold yoga classes and teach at a yoga school, which further fulfils me.
Energy Work
Alongside yoga, Reiki appeared in my life. I started on the path of energy work with the help of Ana Strugar, and later Žarko Ilić.Today, I am a certified Tibetan/Usui Reiki Master. Reiki teaches me silence, presence, and trust in the flow of life.
In the desire to understand more deeply how energy affects our psyche, I was introduced to PEAT—a method for working with emotional and psychological blockages. I am grateful to Dubravka Stojković and Ivana Tišljar for the support and knowledge they selflessly passed on to me.
Professional Background
By formal education, I completed Master's studies in Management at the DOBA Faculty in Slovenia.
Family and Life Philosophy
I am a husband and a father of two children. This is a role that teaches me patience, presence, and love every day.
